Radon Barrier Protection Strategy - Necoflex

Best Practice 3 - Post Construction: You should have the new building tested for radon gas

Typically, this inexpensive test takes three months to complete. A report is then issued giving the radon gas levels in the building.

The occupier of a domestic property, or the employer in a ‘workplace’, is then in a position to decide if further protection measures are required to reduce high radon soil gas levels.

Radon testing is available from the Radiological Protection Institute of Ireland (RPII)
